"Meet the CEOs” is the 29^th event organized by the LOK as a forum to engage with CEOs and discover  the zeitgeist of the executive suite  and what dominates the agenda, plans and minds of today’s CEOs.

This also represents the 2nd one of our CKOs events (exclusive to director levels and above as well as key sponsors). It allows senior members of our LOK network and other experienced VIP invitees to get together with colleagues in an intimate environment.

We plan to host a panel discussion with three CEOs from different industries to gain insight into the thought process of Canada’s most impressive leaders.

This panel will allow for an interactive discussion between the audience and the speaker and will also create a dialogue on where professional interests and issues sit in the eyes of our leaders and CEOs.  

Panel questions may include:

-          The impact of the economy on key corporate decisions

-          The role of doing business in Canada in a globalized economy

-          The influence of new digital technologies and social media influences

-          The customer experience agenda and structural changes to get closer to the customer throughout the business

-          What CEOs are looking for in hiring executive level candidates

-          The weighting of corporate social responsibility in key executive decisions

-          The balance between short term and long term decisions as criteria for managing business

-          What makes their direction innovative as a CEO

-          How to plan 5 years out in a quick shifting economy

-          The ability to implement design thinking in their company

-          The lifestyle impact of being a CEO and the key decisions that they made to end up in the CEO seat

-          Their inspirations, sources of information and what makes them tick

“Meet the CEOs” will allow you to meet leading industry professionals in an interactive environment.  It will be a forum to gain new ideas, senior-level connections and introduce yourself to talented professionals. It will also give you more insight into  different  innovative worlds and how professionals think in terms of larger companies and those who lead them.
